Happy Saint Valentine’s Day to all our families!!!!
Thank you for your participation at our Parish Masses to launch Catholic Schools Week. Those students and teachers who came to the mass on January 29th you were ambassadors of our academy. I especially want to thank Mrs. Mbonu who spoke at the mass in St. Camillus. You did a wonderful job speaking about our academy. I thank you!!!! You still have an opportunity to fulfill your required Mass attendance by coming to Mass at St. Virgilius on Saturday, February 3rd at 4:00pm.
We are so excited for our graduating class of 2018, who will receive their class ring on Friday, February 2nd at 9am First Friday Mass. Many have received their Catholic High School acceptances and scholarships…congratulations! We are proud of you.
Remember the Season of Lent begins on Wednesday, February 14th . We will be attending morning Mass for ashes, the children must be in full uniform. We will not be celebrating Valentine’s Day instead we have selected Friday, February 16th as Wear Red Day School Spirit for Lunar New Year.
We have Rockaway author, Christina Banks coming on February 12th to read her new book to our students in grades K to 4…we will send home an order form if you wish to order the book and or night light. We had to cancel the Hall of Science Trip set for Feb. 13th due to a lack of interest.
School is closed February 19th to February 23rd, we resume classes on Monday, February 26th.
Finally, Progress Reports for the second trimester will be sent home on Monday, February 5th. Please sign and return.
